Timeless WISDOM On…Forgiveness
FORGIVE THE PAST PRESENT FUTURE NOW!
You, O Lord, are forgiving, full of mercy toward everyone who calls out to you. Psalms 86:5
Forgiveness isn’t just being kind to others, it involves showing kindness to yourselves. Jesus preached this idea to his followers many times. And, “If you forgive the failure’s of others, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Hebrews 6:14
Whenever I see someone else as guilty, I am reinforcing my own sense of guilt and unworthiness. I cannot forgive myself unless I am willing to forgive others. It does not matter what I think anyone has done to me in the past or what I think I may have done, only through forgiveness can my release from guilt and fear be complete.
The bible says, “Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. “Forgive as the LORD forgave you.” Colossians 3:13 Also, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Realizing this, to forgive others and forgive myself, is blessing yourself, as well as giving yourself a chance to become whole, a chance for freedom, a chance for restoration, and harmony. A chance for rejuvenation, A chance to prosper and be in good health.
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it brings heartache and pain, knowing this, practicing forgiveness, gives you a chance for abundance, support and supply that can be only found through forgiveness.
In my experience, forgiving the past, letting go of worn-out relationships, worn out circumstances and events was the healthiest thing to do. I’ve forgiven so many people in my life, past and present. I also forgiven places, circumstances and events that needed forgiveness. My life, mental, spiritual, emotional, physical and financial health and affairs have been transformed. I’ve been healed, blessed and delivered many times abundantly.
It is my letter to my Heavenly Father, Thanking Him for sending your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. Thank you Father He’s raised from the dead without my sins, all my sins have all been washed away, never to be remembered again. I’m forgiven forever, greatly blessed, highly favored, deeply loved, and living abundantly.
Finally, when we seek the Lord’s forgiveness, know this, “God sent his only begotten son to die on the cross for things he did not deserve. Jesus took my sins and your sins upon himself. The Bible says, “and the fire of God came on him because of our sins. Jesus absorbed it all and said “it is finished” Hear this, “The sacrifice is greater than the judgment” Therefore, as best we can, we should practice forgiveness. Forgiveness involves freedom, kindness to ourselves as well as healing, blessings and deliverance in every area of our lives.
“Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32
“CHRIST IN ME (THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH) IS MY FORGIVING POWER SO I FULLY AND FREELY FORGIVE, LOOSE, AND LET GO AND LET GOD, I TRUST THE PROCESS!”
“FORGIVE COMPLETELY PEOPLE YOU KNOW. PEOPLE YOU DON”T KNOW. PEOPLE YOU WILL KNOW AND PEOPLE YOU WON’T KNOW!
Forgiveness is the final step for Love. Every time you choose to forgive, you’re freeing yourself from the burden of pain, hate and resentment. Here are 2 reasons why forgiveness is essential for your happiness and well-being.
- FORGIVENESS strengthens your inner peace. When you hold on to negative emotions from past experiences, you’re hurting yourself, but when you release these emotions, you’re actually strengthening the love you have for yourself. When you’re able to feel love for yourself, it is easier to feel more compassion for others and you feel lighter, as your mind is uncluttered.
- Forgive Completely! “Hear, ye children, the instruction of a Father!” Proverbs 4:1, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine,” Proverbs 17:22
